Nice email from Chancery Court

Got this in my inbox today:

Thank you for choosing the Renaissance Chancery Court for your forthcoming Christmas trip. We are looking forward to welcoming you soon, and want to ensure you can make the most of your time in London.

London is traditionally very quiet over the Christmas period, with most attractions and modes of transport closing all day on the 25th December. Our Concierge Team have more detailed information before, including and beyond Christmas Day

The hotel itself has two restaurants, offering wonderful Christmas menus. Pearl is our fine dining restaurant which will be open for lunch 12.00pm-5.00pm and the menu is available on line for your perusal, there are also Vegetarian and Children’s menus available. If you would like to take a look the Restaurant or the menus, log onto the website at www.pearl-restaurant.co.uk. The second option, for a more casual dining experience is our Lobby Lounge. A Luncheon Buffet will be served, including all the traditional Christmas Fare. To make a booking for either of these choices, please e-mail your requirements directly to us and we will confirm this back to you. As I am sure you can appreciate with options limited over this period, restaurants do fill up quickly.

All public transport will be operating all days except Christmas Day, 25th December, where there are no services on tubes, trains and buses. Taxis will be charging double fares and they are few and far between. There will be a reduced service on Christmas Eve, 24th December in the evening and all day Boxing Day, 26th December. The Heathrow and Gatwick Express are running, schedules are normal, but will be running as a bus service not a train due to engineering works, and times are stated as subject to change.

There are a few tours available on Christmas Day, but all museums and attractions are closed. There are also limited tours on Boxing Day (December 26th). Full details of all these tours can be found with our Concierge, who will gladly book these on your behalf. With London so quiet it is the perfect day to take advantage of the beautiful sights and take a stroll around our wonderful and historic city, without the usual hustle and bustle of city life.

Our award winning Spa will be open all over the festive period and so why not give yourself or a loved one an extra special present and book a luxurious treatment. For more details on what we offer, please check our website www.spachancerycourt.co.uk or drop us a line and we will gladly send you more information as well as availability.

If you have any questions concerning your booking or any of the details above, or indeed if there is anything else we can be of assistance with, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to welcoming you very soon!

The sad part is, I just recently cancelled the reservations because we can't make it.

Anyhow, I've vever gotten anything like this before, and it's kinda nice.
