More seriously it will protect the single man from any allegations that might get made - as mentioned over the BA forum when this was discussed, what happens if the child says something like "he touched me", meaning something perfectly innocent like a brush on the arm as you pass? In today's paedo-obsessed world you'd be marched off in handcuffs and put on a register immediately...

I am a woman and I thought how it really may protect a man, even though "What is this world coming too" was in my mind too. Then I thought of the bratty kid that sat next to me on a flight and kicked me and constantly was putting the tray up and down. How do I get on that list?
