I'm pondering sacking up for a year membership and if the cost is around other airport bars, I'd rather be in comfort while sipping on a libation versus out with the common folk.
As others have mentioned, the Delta CR has free booze. (there is one at ORD in terminal 3) You can use the Delta CR membership at CO and NW clubs as well (free booze at those also)
Look at what airports you travel thru and then check to see which ones have DL, CO or NW clubs as opposed to AA ACs.
Then of course you would not have access to the AC angels or AA flight information at those other clubs.
(most if not all NW and CO clubs also have free Wi-Fi)
