PC Club is free as well if you are a CO Gold or higher, and you fly on an international flight. If you fly domestic on AA and you try to get into the Admiral's Club, and you are not a member, the AAngels or DrAAgons will point you to the exit door. Why have a membership? Usually a less crowded place to crash, a shower if you have been on the road all day, the front desk staff can usually pull a rabbit out of a hat while the GAs usually give you the brush off because they are swamped, and so on.
