Met this guy on a SQ flight from Delhi to SIN.
He told me that he was bumped down from J to Y class quite often (within the same flight)..once every 3 business trips he made...not sure if that is common.

SQ probably has one of the best seat inventory management out there. I have been on several flights that are oversold and I have yet to receive a bump. In fact, it is very uncommon for SQ to bump pax.
