operational upgrades
i just received my 5th one today on the flight from ams-jfk route. even though i just bought my ticked on friday, and the flight looked pretty empty, today there were over 100 refugees being sent to the us, so i benefitted from this as a nw gold.
my question is, while all of my upgrades have been on nw operated flights even when bought under the kl code, does any nw elite get these upgrades when on kl operated equipment?
also, are o/u's as common on transpacific flights? just checking to see if i should start flying nw to asia, or stick with 1w member cx. i already know about the quality differential.
