i agree 100% with your argument-you break the rules,you break the rules and too bad, you gotta pay-as much as it is a royal pita to comply with idiotic rules, "rules is rules" and you gotta comply or fight to get them changed (and yes, i have been guilty of "taking it out on the screener"). however i think the real issue is not that i'm breaking the rules but the screnners & supes are making up their own rules and refusing to have a simple, logical and common sense discussion about the sititation as oppoesed to "do you want to fly today*". (and i'm not referring to the "screener discretion")

*<very calm voice>yes, i do. <pause> would you please bring a supervisor over along with a police officer and the airline gsc <pause> <pause> <pause> (raising voice very loudly so other pax can hear>and i mean right now! i am not moving from this spot and you will not, repeat will not touch my bags until these people arrive!-works everytime to get someone's attention that i won't stand for someone not playing by the rules, making up their own rules (i carry various tsa docs with me to prove my point) and abusing their power-only twice have i had to mention the phrase "color of authority" in the presence of the leo, but things dramatically change in my favor at that point.
