OK, here's the update:
It's true, the e-cert online fare isn't eligible for the fare reduction rules, but that's not the way she worded it, she said "she couldn't get the fare on her screen." So you shed some light on that subject.
The regular fare did go down when I checked, as you suggested, on the regular reservation process online. I dropped the paper tickets (unfortunately not e-tickets, that would have made this easy),at the airport this morning. They are going to reissue them and have vouchers ready for me. Today is the last day of the sale also. Alls well that ends well,
