Fare reduction on exact itinerary, credit voucher denied!
The fare for my previously purchased Paris flight later this year,
has reduced from $548 to $488 so I called
Northwest. Since the new fare is an e-cert
fare (online), they say they cannot give me a voucher for the difference, because they cannot bring up the fare on their system.
Anyone have any ideas? I printed off the new fare quote and plan to write to customer service but by then the new fare won't be available, only complicating things.
