Anyway, it looks like we were both pre-assigned two seats together - probably mid-cabin (row 15).
Surely this is a miracle - as I am Gold and they are Blue.
I am not touching the Seating option in MMB as I fear it will only start to mess things up.
One of the legs is showing upgrade for £50 each though which looks interesting.....
And I have bookings in CE, where I cannot get us seats together, despite all the AC seats being free, as we are not allowed to take seats on the AC side any more, with a non-Gold in the booking.
If I had booked in ET though, we would have had our pick of seats, starting anywhere 4 rows back from the curtain, either side of the plane. I could have even booked a 6th ticket, to get the whole row, and have that person not show up, thereby probably keeping that middle seat free.
