But as for LH: Didn't this forum discuss, a while ago, how to book two seats (and obtain double mileage)? How would that work if they don't like double reservations?
You would have 1 PNR with 2 PAX, e.g.:

1. SMITH/JOHN
2. SMITH/EXST (EXtra SeaT) or CBBG (CaBin BaGgage)
