I've decided to stick to "tradition" and got a good rate at the Sheraton Suites Galleria Houston so back I go for New Year's/birthday weekend.

I have read some complaints about this property but I can't recall ever having a bad experience. It does not have a Club Room or fancy surrounding but the rooms are spacious and the staff helpful. The funny thing is I never thought of asking for the Breakfast voucher at check in... I can't remember if I got vouchers or not. (Normally since I'm on vacation I'm earning double snoring miles in the Sweet Sleeper bed.)

I'll do an updated report on the Suites when I stay later this month.

I like the Four Points Houston and it's a good backup hotel. When I stayed there two years ago I came in expecting average and found it a nice hotel.

Maybe one of these days I should take the plunge and try the Sheraton Brookhollow and then write a report.

To go OMNI and Plus, I look forward to having Shiner Bock again. I"m a fan like you Lurker (now if I could only bring a few bottles back to NJ, but those TSA rules on liquids. )
