For some reason, I didn't think of asking for money -- guess I didn't see that forthcoming. Given that this delayed luggage thing has happened to me 4 times this year I wish I had been a little more on the ball.
I "simply" gave a detailed account of everything that went wrong (IOW, a detailed account of everything as it related to this trip), got an email back from a supervisor simply throwing miles at me. Now if only I can find a way to get the elite status I will miss by 2 days (flying back from Europe on January 2nd), all will be fine.
In any case, thanks for the financial compensation info, I will keep that in mind thenext time around.
