I like the overnight sequence... just as the whole country is quiet, midnight hits the west coast, there's a flurry taking off from the WC headed east... the red-eyes. Then just as those hit the EC, activity radiates out from there as the country awakens... The red-eyes are the seeds of a new air traffic day.
