My partner and I never try to hide it wherever we go. Vegas by far has been the most non-judgemental. Its as if the front desk didnt even notice. We are not obvious, but still two men in their 30s that check in together and have every meal together etc. should be apparent to most people.

For the most part I have had that experience in Hawaii as well. In fact in August they asked me if I was there for a special occasion and I said, yes its our anniversary. Later that day a bottle of champagne was sent up.

Its rare that anyone so much as do a double take, but when they do, it takes a second and they move on. There are so many of us open these days I don't think you could possibly surprise them.

The only time I had an issue was the time I tried to check in to a small room and had three friends wrapped in leather, tethered to a staff I was carrying. That, and the black trunk I was dragging behind me that was jingling from all the metal shifting inside did cause a visit from security. Of course, I should have known better that to take all that stuff on my visit to the Lincoln Bedroom.

(For clarity's sake; No, I am not in to that stuff.)
