Subscribe to Expertflyer. This will allow you to view Z/G PMU/mileage upgrade inventory as well as V/X domestic complimentary upgrade inventory. For DL codeshares on AF, which I presume you are looking at, i.e. SFO-CDG, enter the DL codeshare flight number and "Z" booking class (business class upgrade).
