Absolutely the case. If any eyebrows raise, they belong to a desk agent who doesn't get it, and don't represent the "this is all about business" views of the casino-hotels.
We have been to Vegas dozens of times with no issue. We've been especially happy with Mandalay Bay and Luxor, Paris, and Bellagio.
