I entered about 5 codes in before getting the 'you got it' for the Zune. It was the first promotion I had tried ever for Wishlist, so it was pretty nice to win something on my first attempt within a matter of minutes.
Since then, I tried for the Porsche a few times and the TV/DVD player for about 20 minutes. Today I tried for two Wish Certificates...one I got and the 2nd it said I got it, then the screen locked up and I wasn't able to get it. I wasn't happy about it but it wasn't a big deal. If it were something bigger I probably would've been a more upset.
I don't know of any website like this....with potentially millions of people all hitting the same page on the same site, doing the same thing over & over in a matter of seconds/minutes. I've read some stuff here and other websites about this promotion (this is the first year I'm doing it) and it seems like a lot of people complain about it...well, no one is forcing them to participate. Personally, I like it better than just a random drawing...I think this way you at least put forth some effort for a chance to get something at a good/great deal.
From what I've read of past years promotions every year it's gotten a little better every year with handling traffic, blocking scripts, etc. so maybe it will get better in the future.
