Maybe I've been hit in the head one too many times, but I still don't get it. So, if I want to fly from ALB-PHX, I can just book it as such and make sure that the connection is in PHL or DCA to get double PQMs for the entire trip? ALB-DCA, DCA-PHX, ALB-PHL, and PHL-PHX are all on the list, but ALB-PHX is not.

I was under the impression that I was going to have to book a ALB-PHL(or DCA) roundtrip and then a PHL (or DCA)-PHX roundtrip, but from what I am reading, this is incorrect.
