Basically if your itin includes a segment directly between a pair of cities on the master list, you get double PQMs. So if the trip were SAN-LAS-PHL, you would get double PQMs on the SAN-LAS leg but not LAS-PHL. Apparently it was intended to be origin and destination, but it seems to be any segment you have that's on the list.
Maybe I've been hit in the head one too many times, but I still don't get it. So, if I want to fly from ALB-PHX, I can just book it as such and make sure that the connection is in PHL or DCA to get double PQMs for the entire trip? ALB-DCA, DCA-PHX, ALB-PHL, and PHL-PHX are all on the list, but ALB-PHX is not.
I was under the impression that I was going to have to book a ALB-PHL(or DCA) roundtrip and then a PHL (or DCA)-PHX roundtrip, but from what I am reading, this is incorrect.
