And I assume that trips alredy booked past 1 Feb, where the tax has already been paid, will not be immune to the additional increase?

I assume that if there is a flight booked before 1st Feb and an upgrade for it clears after 1st Feb, there will be liability to pay an additional GBP60 ($118) though if it clears before 1st Feb it will have the current GBP20 additional ($39 ).
I assume that the tax change is only going to be applied to tickets issued from Feb 1 , though I could be wrong ( can you imagine the chaos otherwise as people turn up with tickets issued before Feb and all are being charged additional taxes at the airport )
