As mentioned on http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=632756 , the UK's Air Passenger Duty is set to increase on 1st Feb, so that transatlantic will be GBP40 economy and GBP80 for a premium cabin ( vs the current GBP20/GBP40 ). Thought it was worth mentioning here since this will have an impact on mileage/eVIP upgrades, raising the additional cost of usage ex-UK from GBP20 to GBP40 ($78 at current exchange rate)
