You do NOT want to ship stuff abroad to the UK. Everything you ship will be subject to duty and most price differences will be erased that way.

As for Aly's post - most stuff is compatible as long as you can find the correct plug, but do check the voltage and frequency.

And yes, TVs and camcorders are only NTSC in the US.
