If you want things handled for you to be shipped abroad, you will NOT get that at a big disount retailer or even a big we retailer.

Your best bet is to selectivley pick on Ebay what you want and some of those sellers will ship abroad, if you send them a postal/money order with the payment from the US. But shipping fees could be high.

Also you pay duty/VAT on almost anything imported to the UK by post plus ridiculpous "adminstration fees" too, although I understand that digital cameras are a notable exemption from the list of taxable imports.
