I'm not sure if it makes a difference that these tickets were booked through a TA, but I had no problem getting them.

Row 34 is not an exit row on a QF 744. On the SYD-LHR-SYD run , the exits are at 16 in business and 46 and 58 in economy. Row 34 is a bulkhead row and normally available to ppl with OW status
