In terms of quality, I agree with eagle92. To build on that, in my opinion an AA/BA combo is far better than Iberia, Royal Jordanian, or Egyptair, all of which are rather miserable options. I haven't flown Turkish so I can't judge, but I would put my money against it anyday if it came down to a comparison with BA.

If using miles for BIZ and able to fly out of Canada, you can experience BA across The Pond as well, which is in a whole different league than AA. So you know, BA Biz (award) between LHR and CAI is not hard to come about, but tends to clear much closer to departure date. North America to LHR is a different story, though you do have the advantage of time on your side.
