Just checked a few flights on Seatcounter using expert mode (“UA” entered in the first and second airline code block). PHL-SLC for Feb 16 doesn’t even show the award buckets (R, O, N, I, X). It does show the E bucket with a lot of 9s. These E bucket numbers on Seatcounter definitely don’t match when I search for 1k coach award inventory on UA.com (NY) as a 1k.

Checking PHL-LAX for the 16th Seatcounter shows a mix of values in R, X, and N. It doesn’t show anything for O or I and my guess is that it’s because there are no true biz class seats on any of the flights shown. UA is selling C, D, and Z biz fares on some of the flights, but they’re all on narrowbody metal. Seatcounter also shows tons of 9’s in the E buckets for these routes.

Checking IAD-LHR shows all the award buckets with a mix of values in the R, O, N, I, and X buckets. The E bucket is 0 for all the flights however.

All in all it seems that Seatcounter’s provides a different set of values depending on what you’re looking at. It also seems that the E bucket on seatcounter may not always reflect the true NY (1k only) inventory for domestic flights.
