You want logic?

Sorry, just had to put in my one and half cents worth.

It does seem pretty simple. I always put my cell number on bags with the foolish logical thought that all somebody had to do was to call that number and I would tell them where I was so they could send off the bag. (we almost always carry a cell phone even when traveling Intl)

Compared to typing a million codes into the computer and getting nothing, here is a phone number to just call????

By the way, both DL and NW have lost - misplaced - bags on various flights over the past few years. Lucky for us it is always on the way home and we get them later that night or the next morning. No problems, except they have to pay somebody to drag the bags to our front door.
