That's what I thought originally too, but then right there on the seatcounter site (saw today for the first time) it said "Tip: Enter NW twice for Northwest award and upgrade booking classes"
Also, a red "*Northwest expert mode" note showed up at the top of the flight availability screen.

If that's true, it'd be great. So far, no luck though.
