I'm curious what your employer has as the preferred airline. Mine strongly favors American, and being in Houston as well it would be very simple to make exec plat given the necessity of the connection in Dallas on virtually all trips. I rather dislike flying American however. Though the FF benefits for international appear to be better on them. Personally I've never really been a heavy flyer except with Continental so it's hard to judge the differences.
