I am SPG Gold and just returned from 3 night stay at Royal Hawaiian - booked cheapest room available - garden view (with triple point bonus) was upgraded to ocean front room in historic building - great view of beach and diamond head and was also invited to GM cocktail reception on Wed night. Overall had a great time and quite please with 3xpoints!
