Barcelona to The Alps (How/Where/What)?
Hello everyone!
I am traveling to see my friends in Barcelona next month(6th-14th). We are planning to rent a car and drive to the closest Alps location. Not really familiar with the area, so I have no Idea what would be a good(closest to Spain) snowboarding spot. To make it easy, I have a few questions.
1)Where is a good place to snowboard in the western Alps?
2)What is a good place to stay there? or any recommended hotels/motels/hostels in the area.
3)Is there a particular scenic route that we can take there from Barcelona?
4)What car rental place would you recommend to use?
5)Where else to go after a few days on The Alps, not historical sites but more fun and club/good night life type of location that is within a day of driving.
We are poor college students, that are trying to go big with little money(impossible?maybe), so any advise from you on how to do that is really appreciated!!!
