I had the same happening to me in both C and Y especially on the short hops
FRA-FDH where the curtain was moved to either limiter in the cabin and we were
pegged in.

The quote of very CS oriented employee demonstrates that the issue cannot be
communication in the first place .
My explanations would go along
  • to erradicate the remaining thoughts and hopes
    that there is seat blocking implemented by LH.
  • No supervisor around for load management and the crew and hence it is their
    personal passenger-pay-back-day
