It is rare for anyone from the 48 states to get a room upgrade in PR (I do much better using my Maui address). The local PR people working in our plants do get upgrades.

It is rare to get a PR hotel room before 300 PM even though many are clean by noon. Q: Why cant the housekeeping supervisors check rooms earlier?

It is rare to find a PR bar without a hooker or two sipping on a brightly colored drink with straw.

Most Fr, Sa and Su casino gamblers (ie gamers) are local PR people and they rarely miss a weekend. During the other days its out of towners.

Walking from the Hilton to OSJ after sunset is really not a good idea. There are too many druggies and petty crime operators around.

Every 3-4 years the PR Tourist Bureau does a taxi crackdown. Ripoffs will drop for a couple weeks and then they quickly return.
