BTW, for those interested, this is different from (and better than) the policy on UA. There the SWUs (VIP equivalents) are not posted until January of the year after you qualify (so 1/07 for qualifying this year). UAs are also only good for 12 months; with AA's policy, VIPs are good for at least 13 months, and often more depending on when you qualify.
