The Milan area is not particularly well known for fish or pasta. It is more of a veal and rice area. no tomato either. a restaurant serving pasta and fish(canned tuna and salt cod excepted) would be considered a foreign restaurant. ie bolognese, or almafi coast or tuscan. the very top end places may have a fish specialty, or stuff a pasta with truffles or caviar or foie.

Peck in the city, or sadler, which I have not attended. in surrounds, the two that lost the 3rd star, gualt. marchesi, and ant.ost.d. ponte.

I found the food to be quite decent, but not really spectacular like in french haut cuisine. I also thought the place around the corner(sic) serving a hell on wheels rissoto to be a much better value and close in quality.

if season, look for a truffle, rissoto parmagino combo.

some of them may have game in season, which would be of interest. I have never been to milan in game season. in game season france is the place to go for dining. the place to go for dining is france in game season. I've been in tuscany in game season. they just kill it and cook it fresh. no prep.
