Stayed 4 nights a few weeks ago. I'm Gold.

Night 1. Princess. Booked cheapest room, automatically upgraded to ocean view at checkin.

Nights 2-4. Sheraton Waikiki. Booked Manor Wing. Requested upgrade. Hotel was booked first night so no upgrade, but told to return next day to see if upgrades available. Upgraded to large, renovated Mountain View room (that had partial ocean views) for nights 3 and 4.

I was a happy camper.
