I've had the Samsung SCH-A790 for almost two years and have no complaints with the reception both at home and overseas. It's pretty well-built and a tad larger than other flip phones. My only nitpick is that the phone comes with only polyphonic ring tones, which are basically short tunes. It's great if you're a teenager, but I had to use Verizon's "Get it Now" to download a ring tone to make my phone sound like...well, a phone.
