I neglected to I.D. my computer in any way. I think what they did was look at the welcome screen, where it prompts for the entry of a password. I have identified myself in windows by my first and last name. Then, they must have reviewed the scanned boarding passes from that evening, at which point they could tell that I was on CX880. Finally, they sent a telex to the plane.

As a follow-up, I've exchanged e-mails with someone from CX in Los Angeles who has assured me that they are on the case!!

And, yes, I am still very, very embarrassed!!!
