No but really this is frustrating. If you book months in advance you should have some right to select your seat. What's annoying is that a blue flying in club on a non full fare ticket doesn't get to select a seat. Kind of rediculous when considering the cheapest fare from say JFK to LHR in club is nearly $3000 return.

One of the only reasons I can see for this decision is that they want to provide more benefits to silver/gold BAEC members. Also it could serve an effort to get more people to pay full fare.

Question: Does this mean that after December 5th, the changes apply and thus any new booking the rules apply? Or does it mean that flights after December 5th though already booked and preselected a seat will lose that seat assignment?
