Jeez! Just goes to show that everyone has their own idea of what constitutes a good time. I simply can't imagine spending my one-and-only first visit to any new country drinking all night. Kind of boggles my mind, but obviously I am not in the majority on that.

For the kind of night others have described, I'd recommend grabbing some yen from the ATM, stashing the bags at the left luggage counter and taking the Narita Express in to Tokyo Station. From there, I'll defer to the more party-oriented among us.
