It really is that easy. Then again, it's that easy with darn near any drive these days, not just the Lexars.
I wouldn't be completely sure about that, unless you actually test it on the computers you will be transferring files to. I bought a USB drive to take files with me to Kinko's to print out, and it wouldn't work on their computer. I got some message about not having the correct rights or something. I stopped using USB drives for that reason - I didn't want to get stuck while at a hotel somewhere and find out that I can't use any of my files in their business center computer.
