I kind of agree with this. My company won't pay for Biz, so the reason I fly UA is the SWU's. They are definately getting harder to use. It's seems to be more of a roll of the dice these days. I know upgrades aren't guarnteed, but it used to be more of a sure thing. For my trips to South Asia it may just give me more piece of mind to book the SQ premium economy flights out of Newark to SIN. Nonstop too!
