Try doing this in LHR or JFK! Quite impressive that the duty free bag was not picked up by another pax and wound up in lost and found. I've always felt that HKG was one of the safest cities in the world. Also that CX sent the bag to SYD for free, when you weren't even flying CX! They do manage at times to give more than excellent service.
I know. I am really impressed at CX. They even called me several times to confirm the status of the bag and also when it arrived in SYD they asked me what time will it be convenient for me to come and pick it up.
