Are you coming in summer or winter?
Do you prefer smaller or larger hotels?
With tradional Austrian design (like Schwarzer Adler) or more modern (like Mavida, good advice btw, ngfan!)
Which cities are you planning to visit other than Vienna?
And what are you planning to do in the mountains? Spa? Skiing? Sitting in the sun? Gourmet food?
