I can highly recommend this new gem on the block: Mavida Balance Hotel & Spa

It is in Zell am See with good skiing and walking opportunities around. A great boutique hotel with modern design, friendly service, superb spa and excellent restaurant. I stayed there last August and loved it instantly. Go for the suites.

If it fits into the Luxury Hotel category can be discussed but judging from my feelings about my stay I can say: Although being totally different hotels and totally different experiences I was equally happy with my stay at Mavida as I was with those at the Datai, at IC HKG or any Amans...And in my book, a truly happy hotel stay is something pretty luxurious
