Perhaps this has been discussed.....

I have been stuck in Anchorage for over 24 hours!!! On 11/27 flight UA877 from ORD to KIX was diverted to Anchorage for a mechanical. We are still here. Again, CS said it was mechanical but nothing more. Anyway to find out the specific details of the problem? More importantly, any way to find out if the new equipment is en route or even arrived. CS promised a "replacement 777" would be here early today. No sign of it yet.

Looking forward to leaving this frozen (yet beautiful) city.
