You can buy the membership over the phone and have them send you proof of membership the same day via fax or e-mail (the actual card will still take a couple of weeks to arrive). Call the 800 number for WCs, and if you need to access lounges before the card would arrive in the mail, ask them to e-mail or fax you a 'letter of introduction'. That is your proof that you have a membership. Worked fine for me getting into CRCs.
Thanks for the advice! I actually called the WC in Boston, and they'll send the card from there rather than from Minnesota (or wherever they're based in the mid-west). So, I should hopefully get it by the end of this week. If not, I'll just call them again, and get them to send me the info via e-mail. I really appreciate all the help! When in doubt, post on FT
