Perhpaps I wasn't clear in my earlier post--there is no need to go to a club. You can buy the membership over the phone and have them send you proof of membership the same day via fax or e-mail (the actual card will still take a couple of weeks to arrive). Call the 800 number for WCs, and if you need to access lounges before the card would arrive in the mail, ask them to e-mail or fax you a 'letter of introduction'. That is your proof that you have a membership. Worked fine for me getting into CRCs.
