We are going to BKK right before Christmas. I have a 17 year old and a 7 year old. Are the rooms big enough for four of us--my son usually sleeps on the floor. I was hoping for an upgrade, but the OP says that for Gold that is unlikely.

Any other issues with kids being there. I have reservations at the Regent--which is closer to Orchard Road, but want the points. I have heard nothing good about the Hilton--besides its location. We don't mind taxis or the MRT so staying at the Conrad is no problem
