I can't go without my little traveling jewelry box. It's about 5 inches square, maybe three inches deep, unfolds to show two small compartments for necklaces and earrings, and has a ring roll (that I don't use). It has a strap with a snap to close.

I bought it on a whim but over time it's become indispensible - I just pop it in my carryon and go (even fits in a purse in a pinch). Its size also discourages overpacking.

That said, don't touch my iPod.
